What is Reiki and why does it work? Reiki means 'Universal Life Energy'. It is a simple, yet powerful, hands on healing technique based on the teachings of Dr. Mikao Usui. Reiki energy is intelligent. Guided by the Universe, the energy is channeled and received without the conscious intervention of either the practitioner or the recipient. In short, this means that Reiki works without us telling it how! The treatments eliminate energy blocks, and release toxins on not only the physical, but the emotional, mental and spiritual levels as well. Reiki is a wonderful, invaluable tool for anyone interested in embarking on a journey of self-healing and discovery. For caretakers, it can be an amazing tool to share with the people in your care. As a mom, it has proven time and again how powerful and truly helpful it can be. Reiki treatments are a wonderful place to start if you are feeling a bit of dis-ease but can't pinpoint why.

Reiki Level I Class Forming We are now putting together a group for a Level I Spring class. A few spots still available, date to be set upon group availability. Reiki is an ancient form of healing energy work harnessing the power of Universal light energy. This class will provide beginners with the history, hand positions, and attunement needed to practice on themselves, family and friends.

Nicole M. Gelinas, Life Coach

Nicole M. Gelinas is a Life Coach. Her focus is helping people find their way to their authentic, unobstructed self and share that with the world.

She helps people cultivate their dreams. Through inquiry and conversation she investigates into the mind of her clients to find a connection between the essential and social self, to meld the two, so personal success can be achieved. She uses thought based work to dissolve painful beliefs and make room for better, truer statements and ideologies. Through this form of self discovery clients learn tools they can use in their every day life to determine if they are on their true path to what they desire in life.

Her work is influenced by the minds of Martha Beck, Danielle LaPorte, Tim Ferris and several other people who constantly strive to move forward in life with integrity, play, personal power, confidence and self discovery.

For Nicole, coaching evokes a feeling of joy by investigation, contentment by constant change, energy by deep connection and happiness by being of service to the world.

It is a good day when she can surf, coach, spend time with loved ones and be in the sunshine. She holds a BA from the University of Vermont, at one time was a certified Wilderness First Responder, and is currently in Life Coach training with Martha Beck, Ph.D. She is a natural born water baby and loves beer can sailboat races. She never cooks according to the recipe and recently gave up her fear of horses. She loves to travel and prefers the verdant side of life.
